Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions Answered

How Do I Prepare for an In Person Session?

Please have the animal that is receiving treatment be in a confined area that is free from distraction and away from other animals. Be sure to have any background information that you would like me to know before the session starts.

How Do I Prepare for a Distance Reiki Session

Please send a clear full body (side) photo, a clear photo of the head, and the name of the animal to my email at the time of booking your appointment. It is preferable that you are there to observe the session to see if you notice any signs of release. I will call or text before I begin the session, letting you know I will be starting. When I have completed the session, I will contact you again and let you know the results of the session.

What is Included in Reiki Sessions?

Each session, whether it is in person or distance, will include a full body Reiki treatment. I will send out a written summary notating what I found during the session and any other information I felt and give a recommendation on future sessions.

What are the signs of release I should look for during a session?

Animals show release of energy in many different ways. Common signs are licking, chewing, yawning, lowering the head, shaking, taking deep breaths, and relaxing a hind leg are some of the most common signs.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Enter your answer here. Be thoughtful, write clearly and concisely, and consider adding written as well as visual examples. Go over what you’ve written to make sure that if it was the first time you were visiting the site, you’d understand your answer.

How many sessions will my horse/pet need?

Each animal is unique and is dealing with their own individual imbalances. This is entirely up to them and how many areas are out of balance within their bodies. Some may take a couple of sessions to really open up and be accepting of the energy, whereas others can be very open to it and willing to accept it.
